Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
1. Medical Disclaimer & Liability Exclusion
IMPORTANT: LoveAllergy is a compatibility mapping and communication platform. We are NOT a medical service, diagnostic tool, or clinical registry.
While we help users share trigger rules, comfort zones, and exposure reports, we do not verify the daily accuracy of users' declarations or restaurant kitchen processes. You are solely responsible for verifying the safety of any foods, drinks, environments, or contact situations during dates.
Always carry your emergency medications (such as epinephrine auto-injectors) and follow standard emergency plans. In the event of an allergic reaction, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
2. Honesty & Safety Declarations
By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your allergen triggers and severity rules.
- Report exposures honestly (e.g. if you eat something that matches a severe trigger of an active match you are communicating with).
- Respect the comfort boundaries (like the 4h Kiss Buffer or kitchen restrictions) set by your matches.
3. Verified Venue Reviews & Check-ins
The Places Explorer database is built on community observations and verified restaurant protocols. When writing reviews or check-ins:
- You must base comments on direct personal observations.
- You must not post misleading or fraudulent safety reports.
- You understand that restaurant protocols change; always check with the restaurant's chef or manager before ordering.
4. Termination of Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that show intentional disregard for partner safety settings (e.g. harassing users about their allergy limits, or making false exposure reports).
5. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved in San Francisco, CA.
